The Weather
The weather in June, July and August it be can very hot on Crete,
Good protection is necessary, make you sure you keep your waterlevel by drinking enough!
Preferably 2 liters of water a day to prevent dehydration. Also salt do you need,
I prefer Tuc cookies, you can find them in the local supermarket.
Suncream an something to cover your head with (hat or cap) is necessity.
Don’t forget that in these months it is also possible it will rain.
From home you sold bring dextrose! I have not yet found a shop on Crete that sells it.
If you go hiking, tell your Greek host/hostes where you going to walk and what time you think you will be back.
