Sougia
Sougia is a small village on the Libyan sea, on the south coast of Crete. It is surrounded by the mountains range Lefka Ori. In the village the Agia Irini gorge runs out into the Libyan sea. Sougia lives mainly from tourism and a lesser extent on fisheries and agriculture. The only exit road runs to the north and continues along Kandanos and Chania. From Sougia there are boats service (Anendyk) to Paleochora, Agia Roumeli, Loutro and Chora Sfakion, Ktel busservice is going tree times a day from Chania to Sougia and Sougia to Chania.
